Mark was head digital writer for the Staples Easy Button campaign and his tagline for CenturyLink, “Your link to what’s next,” has been in use for well over a decade. He was born and raised in Wyoming, where he worked as a ranch hand and cattle wrestler. He graduated with distinction from Stanford University and earned a master’s in fiction writing at Washington University in St. Louis, where he worked as Assistant Director and published the lead short story in an anthology of under 30 writers. He now brings over 25 years of experience advising companies and Fortune 500 brands on branding, messaging and authentic storytelling. His clients have included American Express, FedEx, CenturyLink, Ball, Colorado Springs Airport, Flying Dog Beer, and Breckenridge Ski Resorts.
